Perhaps the mechanic also re-led the cable more fairly. When we got ours repowered, they looped most of the shut-off cable and tie-wrapped it. REALLY increased drag. When I undid that, friction disappeared. If you introduce a loop, or tighten one slightly, you might get just enough friction. |
