Mast refurb
It's time to put the mast and boom on saw-horses.
Any suggestions as how to handle some mild surface corrosion? Should I just clean it with SOS pads, and let it go at that? Any other tips? Thanks, Norm B |

An Aluminum mast? Maybe figger out why you have corrosion. If its in
proximity to stainless fittings, they make a product for that, I forget what its called, anybody know? If its corrosion all by itself thats weird. |

It's a teflon based dielectric compound designed to electrically isolate differing metals to inhibit galvanic corrosion. |
