Default fuel/oil mixture

HI everyone,

some days ago I got an Mercury Outboarder. Runs great.
Being this is my first marine craft I'am wondering if anyone knows the
fuel/oil ratio for it. Is it 50/1 or 199/1 or anything else?
The engine is Chrysler '354AH' facturted arounf 1970.

I'd suggest calling a merc dealer or repair shop. They can get you the info
and probably a shop manual. General rule of thumb is to use more oil rather
than not enough. Smoking is better than frying.
