Thanks to you both.

There is not much to find on Google on Koh Samui sailing apart from
Sunsail. We knew about Sunsail, but they only do flotilla and we
wanted bareboat. So If you could make any enquires Anon, it would be
great to have more contacts. Is there really not much to see on the
east coast ? The few pictures I can see on the net look nice. I
appreciate that sailing is much more established out of Phuket, but
our research had suggested that this side of the coast was much wetter
in August, when we intend to travel.... and that the best anchorages
were a bit more exposed at this time of year. Are these both true ?

I will look into Phang Nga Bay as I don't know where this is

Rolf, Pattaya would be an alternative. What I can glean from the net
suggests that the area is not as nice as Koh Samui, but once again
there is not a lot of information available. If anyone has sailied in
both areas it would be great to get a comparison.
