Default Partially completed boat

I am looking for a partially completed boat, or "fix-er-upper", in the
40 - 50 ft. range. Prefer single screw displacement (trawler type) in
GRP, Steel, or Aluminum, commercial or yacht. NO WOOD. Basically the
boat I am looking for would have the hull and decks completed, as a
minimum. If vessel is metal I would require proof that welding is in
accordance with accepted standards.

As I reside in South East Asia the boat would have to be located in
Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines or
Australia, with the first four countries preferable.

If you have, or know of, such a vessel please reply to:

Bruce,

The following just listed on www.goodoldboat.com

Not in your location but thought you may be curious.

Westsail 32
Never been in the water. Interior wood installed and fitted. Tanks,
decking, bulkheads, sinks, etc. Pilothouse, diesel engine, rudder,
propeller, cables, and some sails. Stored and worked on in a sealed and
protected building. Very well done, but needs to be completed. Blue book
value new in '97 was $400,000. Offered at $30,000 w/all secured
materials included. A chance to build and own a beautiful boat for an
ocean sailor. Photos available.

Sounds like the one that was on ebay a couple of weeks ago

Well THAT didn't work (tried to insert a link) -- go to ebay and type in
Westsail, and search for completed sales.

Thanks for information but the boat would have to be in S.E. Asia for
it to be available to me -- the cost of shipping a boat across the
Pacific is horrendous. In addition I am looking specifically for a
power boat.

Thanks again though for the reply.
