She has the advantage of a custom built multihull over the
standardised Vendee boats.

The Global Challenge boats are coming from the other direction.

It is a very big place - the chances of ever seing another boat
are negligable, especially with the big seas and weather reducing
visibility.

I should have put a ;-) on my post.

I do know that chances of seeing another vessel are slim. The horizon
is only about 3 miles away if you are 6 feet above the water line.

I just found the convergence of the three races / events of interest.
