Beancounter:

I used to work for a former Ericson dealer and I sold a few used Ericsons.
The Ericson 38 is a great boat. It sails extremely well. There were three
different cabin layouts. The later one- built in the late 80s is the best
IMHO.

But if you can find a Pacific Seacraft built Ericson 38, they are the best
of all- better hardware and (I think) better build quality. PS built
Ericsons in the late 80s and into the early 90s. Check out the PS website
for some info on their Ericsons.

David...thanx for the info...I dod a search on this NG on "ericsons"
and
found some great threads...I worked @ the Ericson plant, in Irvine, Ca
for a few years in the mid 80's...It was a fun place to work...CML was
the owner and they were dabiling in Boston Whaler (a sister co then,
to CML Inc)...a nice mix ... the 1990E38 sure does look like a nice
one...a bit pricy, but, as usual, you get what you pay for..
