Default Crewing on Yachts

How can I find paid work on cruises? I am currently in Paris, so I
would love to sail from Europe to the Caribbean or another warm
region. 25, male, nice personality, played sports my whole life.

Only experienced delivery crews expect to get paid. There are some old
salts, like Don Street, who expect you to pay them for the experience and
knowledge that you will benefit from.

Seriously, an inexperienced crew member can be a liability, even when he
finally gets over his seasickness.

I had a novice crew who couldn't/wouldn't clean up his own barf.

That is why us old guys who don't get sea sick and have seen everything
break are so valuable. I get lots of rides but I never have figured out how
to get paid.

Jim Donohue - yeah I know...get a proper ticket and then maybe...nahhh I
can make enough money real estate and that way you don't actually have to
think for a living. .
