A friend gave me one of those Davis Weather Wizard units with an
anemometer. No way I was gonna take the effort to put this sorta flimsy lookin thang on my masthead, so.... I bought an 8' long 1" diameter AL tube, used hose clamps to hold it vertically against a stern stanchion and put the anemometer on it so its maybe 12' above the water. Looks like hell but that makes me happy, at least i didnt use duct tape. Anybody have any thoughts on these things? Crap or not? |
