Tom, What information do you have that lets you state that I have done
no research and am only using usenet as my primary source. We have sailed and cruised for over 20 years now and use ALL sources available. That includes this board and anything else available. We are SSCA members for 15 years and have all their resources available. We use them all. Nothing is more favorable that those that have been there and done that. And I am sure there are some that visit this board. So we will post questions here from time to time to gather additional information. That does not mean we do not also look elsewhere. Thanks for your input. Chuck TomT wrote in message . .. (Chuck Baier) wrote: Would like some input from anyone that has sailed the Panama to San Diego route or the Coastlines along that route. If my time frame gives me a lot of flexibility, what would be the ideal time frame to make this trip? Thanks in advance for any insight. Chuck, You do not seem to have done any research on your own. I can hardly believe usenet is your primary source of information for ocean voyaging. The "Baja Bash" book Jeannette referred you to is a good reference. Also see "World Cruising Routes" by Jimmy Cornell and "Admiralty Ocean Passages for the World" while you're waiting for someone that has actually done this trip to reply. TomT |
