Hi,
I'm really excited because I am thinking about buying a houseboat in the spring. I don't really know much about them other than which styles I like. I don't know how to drive one, how to care for one, nothing. I was hoping I could get some tips in this newsgroup. My questions a Are they terribly hard to keep up? What are the best months to use them? Can I get maps online to travel by? What are some of the costs that you can name associated with the general use of boats? (not talking about repairs, etc, just things like docking, etc) Are there any safety issues, in your experiences, that I should be aware of? Do you know where I can get information on how to care for and use a boat? And if you can think of anything else let me know! ![]() Thanks PS...someone posted about those nets to put fruit in....you can find similar nets at toy stores, they are used to hand stuffed animals and such in. |
