Peggy: I was wondering if any new head has the same bolt pattern as the old Bryden heads? It's unlikely that any will match exactly. The Jabsco manual will be the closest match because the Bryden was a Canadian version of it, made under a licensing agreement...but today's Jabsco toilets are nowhere near the quality of the Bryden or even Jabsco toilets of that vintage. They lasted decades...you'd be lucky to get 5 trouble-free years from the current version. So I wouldn't base a new toilet selection on matching the mounting bolt holes, but on quality and durability within a price range that's a little higher than $100. Fill the existing holes with epoxy or other suitable filler and touch up with a little paint to match your gelcoat. -- Peggie ---------- Peggie Hall Specializing in marine sanitation since 1987 Author "Get Rid of Boat Odors - A Guide To Marine Sanitation Systems and Other Sources of Aggravation and Odor" http://69.20.93.241/store/customer/p...40&cat=&page=1 |
