Default Wellcraft raw water wash - 190CCF question

I have a 1999 190CCF Wellcraft. The filter froze & broke on the rwa
water wash pump. What size is this inline filter? The OD of the line
appears to be app.5/8"

Are you talking about the little inlet line screen that keeps big
rocks out of the pump? I've got a couple in the shop and can take a
look to see what size screen then but I'd guess about 1.8".

This is a clear plastic inline filter that looks just like a clear
fuel filter, but yes, the filter/screen is in that size range.. Is
rubber hose sized by OD or ID?
Thanks

Rubber hose is sized by its inside diameter.

As best I could understand, if it's tube it's inside.
Pipe is outside.

"Tubing" is measured on the outside; pipe is different as its size is
the "nominal" ID, but actually neither the inside or outside have any
relationship to anything.

Most rubber and plastic hose is measured on the inside.
