Cool Vessels visit Galveston
http://media.cknxradio.com/atk/uploa...t2-Resized.jpg
This strange vessel was worth visiting here. It was moored next to the Elissa a few weeks ago. If they visit your port it's worth checking out. The barge is self propelled with an inboard/outboard twin screw drive arrangement. The center opens up into a concert stage and they put on a pretty good show. http://www.americanwindsymphonyorche...g/aboutus.html The Dockwise is in town . http://gcaptain.com/maritime/blog/wp...ghtyserv.5.GIF Little repair work in progress. I guess it gets around a bit! What a cool idea. |
