I think you are exactly right. * We never leave our boat anchored and
unattended for more than a few hours at a time. *Anything more than
that we get a dock at a marina with good security. *I keep offering

I truly intend to contact you when I get down your way. However, I
did not intend to push myself onto your good nature. After all, you
might take one look at my bizarro bright dinghy and think "What did I
get myself into". So, if you truly mean it, I will accept your
offer. However, if you think it will not work, I will understand you
rescinding it. I think, I may be leaving GulfPort Marina probably
Sunday and get to the Fort Myers area around Tuesday but plans are not
absolutely certain. This trip is going a lot slower than I expected.
Finding that my mast was about to fall down did require drastic action
taking 3 days and the weater was sorta nasty too.
