No mention of armed resistance to attack.... except for the last sentence
about it's "effectiveness."

The word "mercenaries" comes to mind. I wondered where all those
Blackwater thugs found work after Iraq.

Yeah, no doubt. I hope they offload them before they make port.

If you click on 'more' in the anti-piracy section you will read that their
men are equipped with the latest weaponry. Later it says that while they
will make every effort to resolve the threat by 'non lethal' means they will
'take measures' to repel the attack if the pirates approach within the 300
metre range of the RPG's that the pirates carry.
I think that makes it pretty clear what kind of resistance will be made
available to customers.

I'd love to see the look on the pirates' faces as the automatic weapons
fire rakes across their hull as they crap in their pants.

Do they offload them before making port? Otherwise, there's going to be an
inspection delay, which is why the ships' crews don't carry weapons
themselves.

They offload the protection squad as soon as they are out of the danger
area.
I guess the company has figured out a way to get them off without hassle
with port authorities.
Maybe they even have a mother ship waiting there so the squad never go
ashore while armed.
They could also wait onboard the mother ship for another customer whose ship
is entering the danger area from the end where they disembarked from the
first ship.

Sounds good... seems like they could use unmanned drones to keep an eye on
suspected pirate ships. They must have a pretty good idea where they are...
