I have a 1956 Finecraft, 16' cuddy cabin. It has been garaged for many
years, as I lost steam while doing repairs/restoration. A recent wave of nostalgia has hit me, and I'd like to get it finished and back on the water. I know they were built in Alderwood Manor, WA, by a company called Auldubay (sp?) Boats. I was told they were only built between '56 and '59. I don't know anything else about the company, and haven't been able to find anything on the web. I'm sure there are people out there who remember these stylish little boats, and maybe even a few who actually know about their history. I'd appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks, Unc |
