Default Acer Epirb Battery replacement

I have an Acer 406 EPIRB due for a new battery. I understand that these
are not owner replacable batteries, but are there any less expensive
alternatives to sending it back to the manufacturer?

Thanks in advance - Dan Best

I believe that we can take our to the place that services
our lift raft and MOM. Not sure if it is cheaper, but it is
an alternative.
