: You call 81 degrees 'spring'?! That's a good summers day over here! Justin. In Charleston, SC, we have lots of really nice golf courses..... The courses will refund your fees if the temperature exceeds 95F on a thermometer on the course during your round. Golfers here have been seen on their knees praying in front of that temperature display....(c;] They get what they want many many times over the summer.... During hot weather, there's no problem getting an early tee time, just late morning.... It's cooled nicely this time of year. My digital thermometer, here on the Ashley River about 8 miles up from the harbor, is 51.8F at 2215. We're setting our clocks ahead tonight for Daylight Savings Time, which at my house with a large clock collection is a 2 hour chore twice a year.... |
