H-m-m-m-m-m???? I just looked in the bilge..... Our boat has this greasy old Perkins 4-108 diesel tractor engine in it....NOT a Lycoming air-cooled aircraft gas engine.....as is quoted. Anybody got a Lycoming engine in their bilge?? Ain't that noisier than our Perkins?? I don't know why anyone would put a Lycoming in there boat. The Lycoming engine is just a lot more money to start with. It doesn't run on diesel or jet A, but runs on 100LL which is about 3.50 a gallon. Tim |
