They're pretty much permanent beltway fixtures. Sheila Bair was among

mentioned by the Great Mentioner as possible candidates for Treasury
Secretary in the Obama administration. I suspect her little adventure with
Wachovia put the damper on that.



So, a quick look reveals:

Sheila Bair - She was appointed to the post for a five-year term on June 26,
2006.

Julie Williams - She became Acting Comptroller on October 14, 2004.

Both Bush-era employees....
