Why is it so few understand sarcasm these days? Too many dullards with no
sense of humor, no reading skills, no common sense and no intelligence.

Yours Quilly,

No, I meant sarcasm:

sar.casm \"sär-'ka-z?m\ n 1 : a cutting or contemptuous remark 2 : ironic
criticism or reproach - sar.cas.tic \sär-"kas-tik\ adj - sar.cas.ti.cal.ly
\-ti-k(?-)lÈ\ adv

Notice how sarcasm embodies irony, however.

No,that wasn't sarcasm. That was lying.

Are you so sure somebody named Zac wasn't arrested somewhere in the world
for an expired visa?

Poor, hapless, Zac Blunderland's supposed to be sailing around the world but
he's now been in South Africa for over two months and he just got arrested
for having an expired visa.

Well, you see, willy boy is so desperate for someone - anyone - to
communicate with him that he is now reduced to lying simply in order
to make someone notice him.

Pitiful, really.
Cheers,

Where's the sarcasm? Is your OP supposed to be a send up of his lay-over
in S. A.?
Sorry, he's not running a race, he's sailing around the world. You need
to get a grip on your anger over Mr. Sunderland. He's doing what he wants,
not what you want. You sound pathetic.
At the end of his voyage he'll have had adventures and fun. You'll still
be whining.

Wrong! If you remember his goal when he started was to be youngest to sail
alone around the world. He's had a birthday already so he's failed in that
goal. He's motored so much that he's worn out his motor two or three times,
he's accepted tows into and out of port. Failure, failure, failure! Has
anybody mentioned he's a failure? No they haven't. Instead, they keep the
farce going that he's a success when nothing could be further from the
truth.

Nobody is going to learn the lesson which says don't send a boy to do a
man's job!
