Jimmy Carter is even a proven failure as a carpenter. Houses he built are
falling apart. Built atop dumps, etc.

Democrats can't get anything right. Say goodbye to your country, folks!

The houses were built by a charity, so yes, obviously they must all be
Democrats.

You didn't read the article? It specifically states that houses built by
Jimmy Carter personally - he worked on them in other words, pounding nails,
etc. - were falling apart. Duh!

As for charity it's a proven fact that Republicans are far more generous
than stingy, hypocrite Democrats.

Yes, of course I read the article -- I have to wonder if you did. over
10,000 people worked on building those homes over a 17-day period.
Personally, I would not expect sterling craftsmanship from houses slapped-up
so quickly. To blame Jimmy Carter for their failure when he was nothing but
a volunteer hammer-wielder strikes me as putting blame on the wrong party.

He was in charge. He wants the glory but doesn't want the blame. Typical
Democrat. I'm really quite disappointed to find out you're one of those
farked liberal Democrats. You just sounded smarter than that on Usenet.
Anybody who lives aboard should loathe the liberal Democrat agenda.

Who said that he was in charge? Certainly not the article you cited. The
Northeast Florida Builders Association was a partner in this development,
and they're professional builders. Shouldn't they be held to a higher level
of responsibility than one of their volunteers who has been singled-out for
blame for the sole reason that he is famous?

And who said that I'm a Democrat? You assume too much.

One should refrain from arguing with fools and idiots; observers often
confuse you with the idiot.

I doubt if average construction time is more than a month. Everything
is slapped together, some of it surprisingly well.

I'd imagine that for someone whose options are living in thier car (lucky)
or a cardboard box (unlucky) a house that was slapped together sounds pretty
damn good.

My point was that all houses go up very quickly. Ties up the money for
less time that way.
