Where in the hell is this global warming?
Gordon

that is global warming.
welcome to the weather anomalies.

Hahaha! I knew it! Now even when the globe gets colder, it proves global
warming, according to the greens. Hilarious. Weather anomalies!

That is cool. No pun intended. Always wanted to try it... either on the
ice
or on a dry lake bed.

+I got the plans here for an ice boat. then again down your way i dont
+think you got the ice. not that we have it up here either; unless you
+count the freeway. (it would be a hoot to take an ice boat down I-5
+while all the rigs are stuck)

All they need to do is close it off, so you don't have to tack around
them... in Cal. one straight shot for 300 miles, mostly.

+pretty much the only place you would have any trouble between
+washington and southern California would be around Drain Oregon. i
+have also got the plans for that ice sailor with a wheel setup. dunno
+i think that as long as they aint moving it might be fun to tac round
+a few of them.

How did you get the plans? Did you do an estimate of the cost to build? I
was thinking land sailing might be something to try if I can find the time.

you can also just google it and you will get a huge number of hits.
I forget where i got the wheel conversion. its in a file someplace
i'll keep looking.

the build looks pretty easy and the rig is as simple as can be.

Carolina Girls broke out the short-shorts, yesterday and today. We set a
new record for yesterday of 80F, beating the 1933 record by a degree.

Those legs sticking out of the short shorts made us all yearn for SPRING!

(sigh)

It's still 62F at 8PM.

My friend Chris in upstate NY sent me email hoping he could find his car in
the morning....

I told him not to leave it where the SNOWPLOW could find it.
