I just purchased a 1972 aristocraft 19, and the owner says the fellow
he bought it from put a 1985 mercruiser 165 hp inline 6 4.1 litre in the boat. I thought mercruiser stopped using that engine in 1976 or so. Does anyone know where I can find out for sure? Thanks!!! Dave |

Then they went to a 165 hp using the smaller chev 265 (?) block. They made a gazillion of those. G |

Three motors with the same power. Good thinking. Casady |
