Default removing deck from cobra cat?

Hi All,
I have an older cobra cat, fully fibreglass (not glass over ply) thats
been bashed beaten and abused for most of its life. Since im in the
middle of the desert, and have time, I'll fix it up so i can sail it
on my local lake. All the rigging and deck hardware have been done,
its just the hulls now that need a bit of work.

There are a couple of poorly repaired dents in the bottom of the hull
that i would like to repair. Also, I would like to get inside to add
some wood backing to fix the tramp rope hooks to - a few have pulled
out and many are loose. At the bow, the chain plate attachment points
are pretty weak. Overall most areas of the hull are sound, its just
those 2 or 3 areas that need a bit of attention. I have plenty of
epoxy resin, cloth, tape and filler. The question is; how to remove
the deck? I cant really get at the areas I want to work on by adding
a couple of access hatches, I really will need to remove the deck, or
cut out a large part of it. There are no obvious ways to remove it.
There is a lip where the deck folds over the hull - I was thinking to
go at this with a very thin cutting disk on an angle grinder, with a
respirator of course. Is the the right way to go about it? Is there
an easier way? To re-attach i would probably just go with an epoxy
fillt the whoe way around, or maybe re-fix with tape?

Any and all advice welcome!

Thanks,
Shaun
