I am thinking of replacing my aft cabin salon carpet floor with wood. I
will have to deal with 8 hatches. Any ideas? I was thinking of a prefinished floor with solid wood strips. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brian |

Thanks Brian You can lay your own deck using pre cut teak strips (1/4" x 1-5/8" ) and glue them into place. Teak decking is quite affordable (approx $9.00 sq ft.) if you do the work yourself. You'll need a handsaw, a belt sander and a screwdriver. If you have the deck installed 'professionally' the cost is approx. $110 per sq. ft.. ...Ken |

So the pro job takes, just guessing, two to three hours per square foot? How long to do it yourself. Casady |
