I guess this is where I say, mine has lasted since 1978. My raw water
cooled has worked just fine at 140 F...

I agree on paper that fresh water cooled has many advantages, but in
reality that 750 lb anvil has worked well on raw water for 30 years.
If aint broke why fix it?
