when you think about it, you are painting paint not aluminum (mostly),
why not just paint it a lighter color, prep the existing paint and give it a go with a durable marine paint. Bill. wrote in message oups.com... I have an aluminum Jon boat painted with the traditional Olive Green. The painted surfaces get extremely hot to the touch in the hot, afternoon sunlight. Is there a paint available for metal surfaces that stays cool to the touch in direct sunlight? Thanks, Mike Howard |
