Clark Craft Cougar 10 (or Wetback 10) Hydroplane

I am thinking of building one of these.

1) Do you have any experience with this boat? Is it stable, safe, sturdy...

2) Is their kit of good quality (is it worth $785)?

3) Is it easy to build?
