Marc,

Please do some serious research and consider your
alternatives. Corbon fiber is very light, very strong and
not very abrasion resistant. Kevlar is more abrasion
resistant (as I Recall).

Think you will find carbon is on allocation and it ain't cheap.

Try double bias glass and epoxy.
