The other half convinced me that I didn't want a black toilet. She's
right again. We leave the fights for politics, not toilet colors. rhys wrote: On Sun, 15 Feb 2004 16:10:30 GMT, Jim wrote: Thank you for your much appreciated efforts Peggie. You're right about attempts to defeat spammers, Maybe they don't work, then again maybe they do. After sleeping on it, we decided that a black head wouldn't look right. That would be the LAST of my concerns, but then I still endure '70s-style brown plaid upholstery in my cabin, so maybe I need Queer Eye for the Straight Skipper...G R. |

LOL Well, I need money to do the jobs like repairing gelcoat cracks and redoing the upholstery, because they are "esthetic" tasks that are at the end of the Five Year Plan to Reno the Boat. As for bachelorhood, no, I'm married, but as my wife is a year younger than the boat, she finds the brown plaid strangely exotic! R. |

Unless fashion trends are set in the future by colourblind Scotsmen wearing plaid kilts based on test patterns devised by people with Tourette's. Then, maybe. That's why I call it "That '70s Boat". It's got that wood panelled, plaid couch, Badfinger and Three Dog Night on-the-eight-track vibe. In fact, there's still an eight-track on board. Now you know why I spend so much time in the cockpit...G R. |
