I am not a boat builder. I have built a kayak though and am an avid
woodworker. Have you thaought of buying lumber in the lenghth you need then cutting it into veneers? If you do this you could make the veneers as thin or thick as you wish and then jaminate them to your plywood stock which has been scarfed. Finally, where to find 8 ft. and larger plywood for boatbuilding (A/C ok, but prefer marine grade) in the Atlanta area? Finally, I'm not real technical, so I'm looking for simple, easy-to-use Boat design software that can help me develop flat panels for plywood construction from simple hull shapes. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! |
