Thank you, Glen. I don't know Noah's. perhaps you could send me some
specific contact info. That would be a great help. I'm in Atlanta. As to scarfing -- I'm well-versed and well-practiced. Sometime, though, I'd like to play with the longer stuff. BTW, see this December's Wooden Boat for a somewhat over-engineered but impressive scarfing jig. I am in Macon and find it cheaper to order okoume and meranti from Noah's than any marine plywood source in Georgia. As far as longer than 8', learn to scarf. Finally, where to find 8 ft. and larger plywood for boatbuilding (A/C ok, but prefer marine grade) in the Atlanta area? Finally, I'm not real technical, so I'm looking for simple, easy-to-use Boat design software that can help me develop flat panels for plywood construction from simple hull shapes. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! -- Glenn Ashmore I'm building a 45' cutter in strip/composite.
