Chrysler Royal Marine Engine

I have a 1936 Shain cruiser located in Seattle, that has what I
believe is the original Chrysler engine. Can anybody tell me when an
engine with serial number R M8 25373 was built? Also I would love to
correspond with any owners of Shain (or misspelled Shane) boats built
in Seattle...
