Gloucester 16
Is this boat also known as the Newport 16?
Someone once told me that newport bought the mold from gloucester. Large cockpit with a small cabin below, molded in bucket and chuck it style head in vee area of the cabin. 2 bunks built under the port and starboard cockpit seating area. If so I have a factory sales brochure I could scan for you On Thu, 31 Jul 2003 09:01:07 -0400, Brent Benson wrote: From a very old source: Gloucester Yachts Inc Gloucester, VA 804 693-3818 Good boat for daysailing with up to 5 people....berths about useless. Rigging is quite standard....look at any similar boat. Swing keel winch can cause problems on old boats. We make sails for this boat if the old ones are shot. Where are you located?
