I'm doing a patch job to the underside of a fibreglass driftboat with fibreglass matt and roving material (weave). What is applied first after the area is wetted down woth expoxy resin - the matt or the weave? Neither one. Those materials are for polyester not epoxy. Get some 17 oz double bias (+/-45) knitted fabric for this job. I'd probably lay about 3 layers. Lew |
