PL Premium?
I've been trying to find the bonding strength of LePage's PL Premium and PL 400 construction adhesives. There's nothing in the product descriptions on LePage's website. The PL Premium label used to say "our strongest polyurethane construction adhesive" but it doesn't say that any more. Now it says "3 times stronger" but doesn't say stronger than what. Both are strong weatherproof (ie water resistant) polyurethane adhesives selling at different prices ($3.99 for Premium, $2.89 for 400 locally). The clerk at the builder's store couldn't tell me either (no spec sheet for the adhesives) but did say the store brand of "subfloor" adhesive is supplied by LePage and it's the PL 400 "subfloor" adhesive at an even lower price. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ William R Watt National Capital FreeNet Ottawa's free community network homepage: www.ncf.ca/~ag384/top.htm warning: non-FreeNet email must have "notspam" in subject or it's returned |
