Steve,
You have a bunch of real good advise here. You can the the West System stuff lost of places. If you go to a store, there is a good chance that someone will try to tell you "This is as good, but cheaper". Buy the West. The Gougeon brothers have developed this line because they love boats. Buy the good stuff for everything and don't look back. When you even start to consider the labor involved in what you are about to under take, do you want to risk it to save a buck or two? The joint comes completely apart so it shouldn't be difficult to clean up both sides. I'll look around for West System products but I'll probably have to mail order. Thanks for the advice, I need and truly appreciate the help! Steve |
