Req for boat plans

In the mid 70's I had a Handyman magazine with partial plans and
pictures of what the author call a cross between a lumberman's bateau
and a Chesapeake Bay fishing boat. It had oarlocks and I believe a jib
sail was optional. Could someone help me find this article or where to
send for plans?
