Whiner! I can see I won't be inviting you on my boat any time soon. He even had a compass. What more do you need to find as place as big as Honduras? Seriously though. I wasn't around here last year and I can't turn up the old thread. I'd love to know how you got into this and what would possibly posses you to let the boat get underway with you on it. The contrast between this and the pictures of your other excellent adventures has me very curious. Would you mind posting a recap? Seriously, the kid rowing the boat was 23?, really great guy, mature beyond his years but with zero offshore experience and very little sailing experience, was afraid that he might sail off with the old man and get himself killed. He'd never done an offshore before and was anxious to go. He taught at inner city schools in NYC and if something happened to him because I didn't go I would never have forgiven myself. John Cairns |
