Thanks for the links.

Does anybody believe that this reflects on the effects on the
environment of President Bush's policies? Would anybody say that Bush
& Cheney have been eco-friendly?

It really isn't a fair comparison - the Gore residence is also office
space for a large staff since both Gore's work from there. It also
includes a generous guest house which frequently has high profile
visiters with staff. All things considered, it isn't a lot of juice
they're using. (And the 20X report was rather overstated.)

The Bush residence, while modest by itself, also includes a guest house,
the original farmhouse, a double wide and various other structures added
by the taxpayers. No mention is ever made of the electric bill there;
how much do you think it costs to run the A/C? A lot is made of the
reclaimed grey water, but that is pretty common in such an arid area if
you want to water the lawn.
