C&C vs. Siedelmann
Scotty Potty has indicated that cost was not a factor in choosing his
current Siedelmann 30 over a C&C 30. He PREFERED the Siedelmann and now says he LIED when he said he couldn't afford the C&C boats. I'm very familiar with the C&C line and have been aboard many of the well respected designs, from the small 25 to the 30, 34 and 37 and of course my own C&C 32, Alien. I'd like to know what aspects of the Siedelmann 30's design and build are superior to the C&C boats in particular. Perhaps Siedelmann's reputation as one of the worst production boats ever was not deserved. Thanks for any input! RB 35s5 NY |

No muscle definition either. Get that home gym and get Sudsy burnining at least 1500 extra calories/day. Get her off of processed food and onto whole grains, vegetables and lean meats. Cut back on her booze too, each bottle of Piels she swills down in 240 calories. Why do you have so much hair on your back and so little on your head? |

C&C vs. Siedelmann
Ah, always the first and most important consideration in the area I
sail in. Where you looking for less or more? This oughta be good! Scotty Potty claimed he couldn't afford the C&C 30. Draft was never mentioned. Doesn't his boat have a 5 foot draft? I'm dying to hear about his issues with the 5 foot draft of the C&C 30 in his area. But since cost was NOT the issue, I'd like to hear why he bought the boat of other better low draft designs. The upper gulf has so many great places to go and so many unpopulated barrier islands, but shallow draft is a basic requirement. My last boat drew 4'10" and that was far too much. Frank Scotty |
