Huge disappointment, 4th in class, 43rd overall. In an ironic twist, the
boat that won our class this year took our position overall-14th-from last year! Someone else pointed out, and I should keep this in mind, that we flagged again, there are a lot of folks that do the race for decades and never flag. And we have something to shoot for next year. http://tinylink.com/?1wiDrHnWZM Looking at the results again, we actually did pretty well, beating 5 of the IRC A boats, basically 50 footers, 13 of 18 in the IRC B class, and all but 2 of the IRC C boats. That's what ratings are all about. From the times, it looks like the race was a drifter most of the way, but then an NA-40 took third??!? And what happened to the Tartan Tens? I'd say you did pretty well, hope you had fun. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |

You just missed the Catalina 22 Nationals, that were going on at my yacht club. I'm Horvath and I approve of this post. |
