Huge disappointment, 4th in class, 43rd overall. In an ironic twist, the
boat that won our class this year took our position overall-14th-from
last year! Someone else pointed out, and I should keep this in mind,
that we flagged again, there are a lot of folks that do the race for
decades and never flag. And we have something to shoot for next year.

Looking at the results again, we actually did pretty well, beating 5 of
the IRC A boats, basically 50 footers, 13 of 18 in the IRC B class, and
all but 2 of the IRC C boats.

That's what ratings are all about.

From the times, it looks like the race was a drifter most of the way,

but then an NA-40 took third??!?
And what happened to the Tartan Tens?

I'd say you did pretty well, hope you had fun.

You just missed the Catalina 22 Nationals, that were going on at my
yacht club.
