Holidays suck on the water. All the weekend warriors and
glorified day sailors, like Bob, come out and cause havoc for the rest of us. I was in the desert on the 4th. White sands, NM. Scotty "Cal Vanize" wrote in message ... We went out for a few hours. Nice day, wind 10 - 12k pretty steady. Toward the mid-afternoon, we had a thunderstorm build right above us. We dropped the sails and headed back in a hurry. As we were securing the boat, the heavy rain and lightening started. But it was a great day while it lasted. (Carlyle Lake, IL) |
