NEW CAR is here!

All of your budget level mods make the car go faster in a straight
line.

You are not a regular or ever have been on a race track.

You are a reckless fool turning the public roads into your personal
drag strip.

You never had high speed driving instruction.

You are too chicken and inexperienced to go out on a track and go
head to head with others.

You race in traffic, others have to find out the hard way you are
racing.

You have no experience in high speed driving. Your experience is
simply in speeding, that is breaking the law.

You put others at risk with your reckless driving.

You can't handle a faster car. You have no skill. You want straight
line fast.

Did I mention you are reckless, unsafe and a law breaker?

You have never driven a car at high speed on a twisty road for more
than 90 seconds. Try going for an hour continuous on a track.

Sounds like your sailing ethic is splashing into your driving.

Unsafe. Reckless. Unlawful. No commitment. Unskilled. No
mettle. Driveway/dock queen. All show with nothing to show. It's
all about you.

Get real tires. Replace that undersized turbo. Get some struts. Get a
pair of balls.

Most importantly:

Get your jollies on a race track. Be considerate of those who use the
public roads and obey the law. We all can use one less asshole on the
road.

I'd recommend SCCA SOLO II events for Bubbles. He can get his jollies with
his econo-rocket and might just learn something about driving skills in the
process. All safe and secure in someone's after-hours parking lot with
nothing but orange cones to hit.

And Sam Walton drove a 72 ford truck until he died. Some people do not
have the need to brag or try to impress others with fancy trinkets.

Really? Did you ever visit Sam Walton's house? It was designed by Fay
Jones, an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, and was custom built from
the best material available. No expense spared.

It's a nice truck, why woulden't he drive it daily until he died? WTF
was he going to use to haul around his dogs in.... a Rolls Royce?

Building a quality home with the best materials available is a smart
conservative more. I bet it's worth now double what he spent
constructing it. Also I bet it has a low maintance bill.

Buying an overpriced thin skinned rice burner thats worth 1/2 what
you paid for it the second it rolled out the door is not very wise.
Then racing on "seldom" used winding roads is supreme stupity and
proves just what a putz Rob is.

Nay, nay. That would negate his bragging rights at being able to afford to
*pay* for such things.

That's my suspicion, but perhaps we'll be pleasantly surprised. Maybe he
even knows what plastigage is.

He already knows, all Japanese cars have plastic gauges! gr

Not likely, he doesn't own any metric adjustable wrenches.

I'm sure BB will loan him a complete set of Whitworths. They'll fit
everything from SAE to metric.

Interesting concept, one tool lending tools to another tool. ;-o

I had a Caprice for a while, a retired NJ cop car. It was one of the
few US built cars that was worth a damn. I also had a Crown Vic for a
while, also a NJ cop car, which was pretty quick for such a boat.
