*Sniff* I loved Vonnegut.

This makes me "Vonnegut" out my DVD of "Back to School" and watch it
again.

He's not really dead. He's with the Trafalgarians now.

Has anyone said "So it goes" yet?

Poo-tee-weet.

You've read Delany? I read *Dahlgren* when I was 14 or 15...an eye-
opening experience for an impressionable kid! *chuckle*

Dear God, that should've been as overwhelming as me encountering
Cordwainer Smith two or three years younger-- the paperback collection
_Space Lords_, with some fairly tasty little classics like "Mother
Hitton's Littul Kittons" and "A Planet Named Shayol", not to mention
"Drunkboat", and of course the overwhelming, even comparatively speaking,
"The Dead Lady of Clown Town".

As for Delaney, I keep copies of _TEI_ (my favorite of his, and a
personal favorite overall, even though the title is wrong), _Dhalgren_
(love the eye-caps) and the beautiful little gem _Empire Star_ around, and
you probably can't really bring any serious criticisms against his other
classics like _Nova_, _Babel-17_ and _Triton_, except possibly one of a
too-overt and therefore irritating intellectualism (I have a bad feeling
about letting that expression loose) . . . .

Color television is certainly a lot more fun than this terribly
risky genetic method of reproduction we've taken over.

Ah, well, it's a beautiful world.
