While I was procrastinating on the purchase of a digital camera, my wife
surprised me with a Canon Powershot A640. I'm still reading the various guides, but so far I'm fairly impressed with what this thing can do. 10 megapixels produces a nice pic. I wanted an SLR, but the telescoping lens works adequately enough, I just can't get too fancy. Realistically, I probably wouldn't have done too much fancy anyway. I like the compactness of this unit too. Scout |
