Default Conservation is anti-American

Can you believe the idiocy of the greens? They worship conservation.
They act live conservation is a worthy goal. Something to attempt with
all your heart. People who don't conserve are looked down upon. Well,
they are wrong. Conservation as a goal is just plain anti-American.

America is built upon the good life and consumption. America is the
greatest, wealthiest, most powerful, most moral and cleanest country in
the world because the majority of Americans don't give a hoot about
conservation. They understand that you don't get rich by conserving. You
get rich by producing and consuming. That's capitalism. This is not to
say one cannot produce and consume responsibly. That should always be a
goal. But conservation takes the back seat. It is not a forefront goal.

The problem with conservation is how the concept is understood by
environmental myopic types. Conservation means cut back, do use so much,
do something else instead, lower your standard of living. In other words
conservation = socialism. So, the lesson is clear. Don't fall into the
conservation trap. Put prosperity first and conservation a distant
second. Fight socialism by producing and consuming. It's the American
way.

Default Conservation is anti-American

Conservation is inherent in the pricing mechanism of a free enterprise
laissez faire capitalist system.

When the whales went nearly extinct, the price of whale oil rose
dramatically and it became more cost effective to go to other sources.

Price distortions and waste occur because of unwise government interventions
in the marketplace.
