Max I loke watching ovies at the movie house....tv's for second hand movies...I don't have a 6 goot wide home theater with surround sound so watching movies on a 27" tv with a black band at the bottom and top is not the ultimate experience..and I can never get the popcorn to taste just right...I think we're going to go see Bridge to Teribithia this afternoon..I'll let you know how it was.. |

We have a 52" widescreen, HD. AND there are no noisy kids yakking all the way through the flik, nor are there any idiots with cell phones chatting with their boyfriends/girlfriends, nor is there any gum on the floor to stick to the bottom of my shoes. Nor is the sound turned up to the point of pain, as most theaters are prone to do it seems. and I can never get the popcorn to taste just right... Go for the high-fat, 'pour-over butter' microwave stuff. It's really close to the theater stuff, but costs half as much. And you can listen to sound of your coronary arteries clogging right in the comfort and convenience of your own home. I think we're going to go see Bridge to Teribithia this afternoon..I'll let you know how it was.. Please do so. It's on our list as soon as it makes DVD. Max |
